Quick steps to set up LINE, make clear calls, and troubleshoot common issues in Thailand.

Start calling in 60 seconds
- Install the LINE app and sign in with your phone number (allow SMS verification).
- Allow microphone & camera permissions when prompted.
- Find a contact: search by name or open an existing chat.
- Tap Call (📞) for voice or Video (🎥) for a video call.
- For a group call: create a group chat → tap Call → choose Group Voice or Group Video.
Tip: For best quality, use Wi‑Fi or strong 4G/5G. Headphones help reduce echo.
Call quality tips
- Switch to Wi‑Fi when signal is weak.
- Close heavy apps and keep LINE updated.
- If video lags, turn off camera for a few seconds.
Privacy & safety
- Lock your account with a passcode/biometrics in Settings.
- Only accept calls from people you know.
- Review permissions (mic/camera) in device settings anytime.
Troubleshooting
The other side can’t hear me
Check microphone permission in your device settings and make sure no other app is using the mic.
Calls keep dropping
Move closer to the router, try mobile data vs Wi‑Fi, or toggle Airplane Mode off/on to refresh signal.
Video looks blurry
Reduce movement/light glare, switch to the rear camera, or briefly pause video to stabilize the connection.
